At Cloud 9 Speech Therapy, your child's individual needs are at the heart of our sessions. We’ll make learning fun by following their interests and helping them develop new skills using engaging activities, books, and toys. Our speech therapists also work directly with parents to provide communication tips, reading strategies, and homework activities to make sure that growth continues between sessions.

Personalized Speech Therapy Services for Children in Seattle, WA
Reading and writing:
We provide a comprehensive literacy evaluation to 1) assess for the presence of dyslexia or dysgraphia and 2) develop a personalized learning profile for your child. This helps us identify specific areas of need, choose the most effective intervention, and create a clear starting point for therapy.
Building early alphabet knowledge and print awareness.
Strengthening phonological awareness skills, such as recognizing sounds, syllables, and rhymes.
Developing decoding skills to sound out words and build reading fluency.

Blaine Cluskey, M.S., CCC-SLP
Owner, Speech-Language Pathologist
Hi, I’m Blaine— a pediatric speech therapist, literacy specialist, and the owner of Cloud 9 Speech Therapy. I have over eight years of experience supporting children with communication and feeding disorders in pediatric hospitals, public schools, in-home settings, and outpatient clinics.
As a child, I was deeply impacted by a teacher who helped me discover the world of books. Her encouragement has stayed with me after all these years, and I strive to make the same impact on the children that I work with at Cloud 9 Speech Therapy. Throughout our time together, your child will feel seen, valued, and supported!
I am also committed to getting you involved in therapy from the start so that you feel confident in supporting your child’s growth at home. My goal is to plan therapy sessions around your family’s values in order to help your child reach their goals— and address challenges with creative, personalized solutions.
Outside of work, I am a hobby enthusiast who enjoys reading, quilting, hiking, spending time with my dogs, taking care of house plants, and attempting to master the art of sourdough. I look forward to getting to know your family!

Cloud 9 Speech Therapy provides home and community based services throughout the Greater Seattle, WA area. This could be in your home, at preschool or daycare center.

We will evaluate your child’s skills in the areas of speech, language, reading, and writing skills.

Your child will begin speech, language, or literacy therapy to reach their goals!
Insurance & Billing
At this time, Cloud 9 Speech Therapy is out of-network with insurance companies. We will gladly provide a superbill upon request that you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. We accept FSA, HSA, and private pay at this time.
